I was seen by another doctor who was treating my arthritic hip with cortisone but was unsuccessful. He told me that I would need a new hip and said no doctor would operate on me near home because of the metal I already had in my leg from a prior surgery. He said he would send me to the best doctor he knew to correct my hip. I was more than ready to get the ball rolling.
I have had problems with my leg for years. When I came to see you, I was anxious and a little nervous about the whole hip replacement surgery. Then when you talked to me and explained everything you would do, I was very excited. I remember you telling me you could take away the pain, lengthen my leg, and give me more mobility.
