Surgical dislocation and proximal femoral osteotomy for a 12 year old female with pain after slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE)

History and Evaluation: This 12 year old female (previously treated for bilateral SCFE) presented with continued left hip pain.  She had left SCFE pinning 2 years prior and right hip pinning 1 year prior.  Imaging studies showed a residual SCFE deformity. The impingement bump is demonstrated on the preoperative x rays (arrow). She was diagnosed with severe hip impingement secondary to the residual SCFE deformity.
