Hip arthroscopy for treatment of a mild slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) deformity in a 22 year old female patient

History and Evaluation: This patient presented with residual right hip pain after SCFE pinning at age 12. Pain began approximately 9 years after surgery and is greatest with activity and sitting. Imaging studies showed a residual mild SCFE deformity consistent with hip impingement. The impingement bump is demonstrated on the preoperative x rays (arrow).
