Surgical dislocation for FAI after femoral head fracture malunion in an active young male

History and Evaluation: A 28 year old male presented with right hip pain eight months after a fracture dislocation of the hip. The patient was treated nonoperatively at an outside hospital. He had severe restriction of motion, pain and activity limitations due to a malunited femoral head fracture.  X Rays demonstrated poor positioning of the healed femoral head fracture (arrow).
